Susan Avery taught school for 21 years - 7 of which were in Hillsborough County. After that she became the District Resource Teacher for Kindergarten for three years followed by seven years as Kindergarten Supervisor for the district. While working at the district level she was a member of the District Reading Team and helped create the reading coaches project for the district. In 2003 she left the district office to become Assistant Principal at Crestwood Elementary School and was appointed Principal of Carrollwood Elementary School in May of 2006. |
